Dining at Disney Springs
At some point during your vacation, you’ll likely visit Disney Springs. Disney Springs is an entertainment, shopping, and dining venue that’s open to the public. Every Disney Resort Hotel offers bus transportation to Disney Springs. Resorts in the Disney Springs area also offer an additional boat service to the venue.
I’ll be honest. I like Disney Springs. We go through times where we frequent the venue. On the other hand, we go through times when we rarely visit.
It’s not a deal-breaker if you can’t find the time to plan a visit. Most everything here is designed so that you’ll spend more money. Guests come here to eat, shop, and walk-around. Disney Springs is basically a huge outdoor mall.
Now, if you’re a serious foodie, you’ll find many places ranging from a specialty chocolate shop to fine dining that will interest you. If you were to run into me and say–where would you eat at Disney Springs, I’d have some picks:
- The Ganachery (Pick up a small box of chocolates and enjoy one each night of your vacation.)
- Amorette’s Patisserie (They make the cutest petite cakes, among other things.)
- Salt and Straw (Ice Cream…my favorite is the Chocolate Gooey Brownie)
- D-Luxe Burger (So good and they offer mobile orders. Sometimes I’ll pick up a burger and take it back to the resort if I’m tired.)
- The Polite Pig (Barbecue)
- Morimoto Asia (It’s just delicious if you enjoy Asian cuisine.)
- Frontera Cocina (Hands down, the best “quality-ingredient” Mexican restaurant ever.)
- Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ (We always splurge on fried chicken and dessert here. It’s so good.)
- Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres (Spanish Tapas, Charcuteries, Refined Small Plates)
- Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill (Italian Cuisine)
- The BoatHouse (Seafood and Steak Sliders)
These are only a few of our go-to places. My best advice is to choose your location based on price or what kind of food you’re in the mood to enjoy. If you want to learn more, read our article: The Best Restaurants at Disney Springs.
