Where to Start with Disney’s Resort Hotels
I prepared this lesson with the biggest smile on my face. Resorts are my favorite topic when it comes to planning a Walt Disney World vacation.
This part is fun!
We have stayed at every resort at Disney World in the past couple of years and have a tremendous amount of photos of the pools, rooms, and transportation guides for each one.
You’ll want to consider many things when you’re planning a stay. Some of the biggest factors will be:
Price
If you’re on a strict budget, the price of your resort will likely be the number one decision-making factor.
Location
If you have a flexible budget and are interested in staying near the parks, the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Resorts Area have incredible options.
If you’re interested in learning more about either of these resort areas, try the following guides on Resorts Gal.
Accommodations
Most rooms at the Disney Resort Hotels sleep up to four guests. However, some standard rooms can accommodate four adults and one small child. If you’re traveling with a larger party or need some of the conveniences of home, you might consider one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Those resorts offer accommodations ranging from deluxe studios to three-bedroom grand villas.
Here are our guides for each resort category.
- Disney Value Resorts (The Cheapest Hotels)
- Disney Moderate Resorts (In the Middle)
- Disney Deluxe Resorts (The Most Expensive)
- Disney Vacation Club Resorts (Moderate to Expensive + Large Accommodations)
If you don’t have any idea where to start you might like to read our resort rankings or our hotel reviews guide. Note, these article are like small books that might take a little while to get through. But they contain a lot of good information if you have a little extra reading time. (We also update them regularly.)
Have fun exploring the resorts! In our next lesson, we’ll discuss the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. You’ll want to make sure to take advantage of some of these amenities.
